BATTING CAGE ETIQUETTE
A reminder to all managers regarding the use of the batting cages at Snider Park. The use of the cages is a privilege and we are all fortunate to have access to them. As such, it is expected that we all work together as a team to collectively maintain them. In order for all teams to make effective use of their cage time, please be sure to do the following upon the completion of your practice.
1. All balls in the buckets.
2. At least one bucket of baseballs in each tunnel (softballs can all be placed in their buckets, mixed together, regardless of 11" / 12" size)
3. All trash into the trash can.
4. All portable L screens should be lined up along the north and south walls. Please be sure to slide the screens under the ropes, and not through the netting.
5. All tees lined up along the sides of the tunnels.
6. Tidy the area outside of the tunnels, trash in trash can, balls in bucket, extra hats / gloves / bats along the wall.
7. Managers, please remind players that we allow water only and do not allow food, gum, candy and seeds in the cages.
All teams have a limited amount of cage time, please keep the cages clean and organized and help all of us make the best use of our cage time. You can set up the cage however you want during your practice, but this will be much easier and more flexible if we are all starting from a clean, organized, and consistently set up cage. Thanks for your cooperation.
